Bowen of the County & State aforesaid at or before the sealing and delivery of these presents the receipt Whereof We do hereby Acknowledge have bargained sold granted and confirmed by these presents do bargains sell, grant & confirm to the said Moses M. Bowen a certain female negro slave named Maraca and her future increase and Also a certain negro boy named Bob to the only Proper use and behalf of the said Moses M. Bowen his executors & assigns forever and we the said A. Bowen & his wife Polly for themselves Exec The said Female Negro slave with her future increase and also the Negro boy named Bob to the said Moses M. Bowen his Exec. Against the said A. Bowen and Polly his wife own Exec. Against all and every Person & Persons Whatsoever Shall & will warrant and forever Defend by these presents In Witness Whereof We have hereunto set our hands and affixed our seals this first day of March in the year of our Lord 1824. Bowen (the endebtor) of the third part, Whereas the said Anthony Bowen is justly indebted to the said Moses M, Bowen in the sum of $1200 to be paid on the first day of January 1826 as by a bond bearing date on the 3rd day of April 1821 ... doth grant, bargain, sell a lien .... to the said Moses Mann his heirs and assigns forever the following property viz (horses, cows, personal property) ...
