Deed Book 25 Page 516 This Indenture made and entered into on this the 29th day of May A.D. 1860 by and between James A. Bowen of Livingston County and State of Missouri as party of the first part and Moses M. Bowen of the county of Livingston and State of Missouri as party of the second part. Witnesseth that the party of the first part for and in consideration of the sum of 1100 dollars to him paid by the said party of the second part the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold, confirmed and conveyed and by these presents do grant bargains sell confirm and convey unto the said party of the second part and his heirs and assigns forever, the following described real estate situated in the County of Greenbrier and State of Virginia to wit: all the right, title, interest and claim of the gaid James A. Bowen in and to the landed estate bequeathed by the late James Bowen of Greenbrier County and State of Virginia to the heirs of the late Allan Bowen of Greenbrier County & State of Virginia aforesaid, being a one sixth undivided interest in said landed estate for particulars of meters & bounds of said lands refference may be,had to the Records of Greenbrier County Virginia & to the will of the late James Bowen aforesaid. To have and to hold the same with all the rights, privileges and appurtenances thereunto belonging or in anywise appertaining to the only proper use benefit and behalf of Moses M. Bowen the said party of the second part, to his heirs and assigns forever. The said party of the first parts hereby covenanting, that himself & his heirs, executors and administrators shall and will warrant and defend the title to the said premises and every part thereof, unto the said party of the second parts his heirs and assigns forever against the lawful claims and demands of all persons whomsoever.
