Mr. Samuel C. FORREN, Sr., died at his home at Smoot, March 8, 1914. 
He was born in Monroe county December 25, 1827, and was 86 years, 2 
months and 11 days old.  He was the last of a large family of 
children.  Mr. FORREN was united in marriage with Miss Nancy EARY (who 
preceded him to the grave some years ago), to this union was born ten 
children, 7 of whom survive.
