She was the wife of Charles Edward Persinger. Mrs. Persinger was born Sept. 19, 1919, in Waynesboro, a daughter of Mrs. Alma Brady Fisher of Covington and the late Thomas Ralph Brady. She was a member of Emmanuel Episcopal Chruch and the Floyd Rogers Chapter of the church. She was a former member of the Covington Woman's Club, and a past president of the Edgemont School Parent Teacher Association. She was a former editor of the Woman's Page of the Covington Virginian. After leaving the Virignian she was a member of the editorial staff of the Petersburg Progress in Hopewell. Surviving other than her husband and mother, are two sons, Carl S. (Sammy) Persinger and Brad Alan Persinger, both of Covington and a daughter Mrs. Richard P. (Edwina) Stadter, of Denver, C0. Also, one sister, Mrs. James R. (Lettie) Weikle of Alderson, WV and a brother, Carl T. Brady, Covington. Two grandsons also survive. Arritt Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements, which are as yet incomplete. The family is at the home of her mother, Mrs. Fisher, at 316 Prospect street. Aug. 1969.
