Calvin Reynolds
Mr. Calvin Reynolds, long a resident of Irish Corner district, died at 
his home near the mouth of Second Creek, Wednesday morning, Jan 31, 
1924, at the age of 85 years.  His aged wife preceded him in death 
three weeks ago, on Jan 7.  He was a highly respected citizen and a 
man of strict honesty and integrity.  For many years he had been a 
member of Mt Pleasant Presbyterian Church, and the funeral services 
were to be conducted by his pastor; the Rev. W.A. Benfield, with 
burial in the Baptist cemetery at Sinks Grove. Surviving him are four 
sons and three daughters, one of the sons being E.F Reynolds of 
Ronceverte; L.C. Reynolds also of this city, J.H. Reynolds of 
Earlehurst, Va.; G.W. Reynolds of Covington, Va and three daughters, 
Misses Annie, Bessie and Mae, all at home.
