I James Boggs of the county of Greenbrier & State of Virginia being of Sound mind & disposing memory (for which I thank God.) of caling to mind the uncertainty of human life & being desirous to dispose of all such worldly estate as it haths pleased God to bless with. I give & bequeath the same in manner as following that is to say... 1st item To my well beloved Wife Margret, I give & bequeath the Mill I now occupie. With sufficent timber to keep her in order during her natural Life. I also leave to my said wife three cows & calves to gether with all my house hold & kitchen furniture a sufficent garden with one third part of all the fruit that may grow on my ___ head Also my old grey Horse all the above cattle, horse & house hold & kitchen furniture to be at her own Disposal. I also leave her the equal of one Hundred & twenty Dollars that is in the hands of George Reader but if it apears to my Executors that she need the said one Hundred & twenty Dollars in that case I leave it to her forever but if that sum should be in her hand at her Death I leave the same to My grand son James Boggs & my son Alexander. I also reserve as much of my Meadow as will keep her three cows & calves but she is not keeping more than _____ head any ______. I also leave to my said Wife four head of sheep... 2nd item to my son Alexander Boggs I bequeath the plantation & mill I now live on to be to him & his heirs forever with the reservation of the mill ___ to his mother as is mentioned in the first item of this instrument.. 3rd item Any other property that I may be in possion of I allow to be sold by my executors & my just debts & several expenses paid & this I do declare to be my Last Will & testament hereby revoking all other or former will or testaments by me before made & for the due execution of the same I do hereby appoint my trusty friends William Rennic_ & my son Ezekiel Boggs executors of this my last will & testament.
