I give devise bequeath my personal property, money, notes, bonds and bills as follows that is say one judgment against John F. Parkins for two hundred dollars and interest one judgment against Edward Hines for one hundred and twenty five dollars and interest to Effie B. Sydenstricker after my burial expenses are paid and seventy five dollars to be paid to Virginia Davis and seventy five dollars to Jane Foster which amount was allowed them by Chas Haptonstall. I give my watch to Lucy Stinson. I appoint Effie B. Sydenstricker of White Sulphur Springs Greenbrier County West Virginia executor of this my will without being required to give security in witness whereof I have signed and sealed and published and declared this instrument as my last will this 30th day of Sept. 1898. Buster Clerk of Greenbrier County Court in his office and proven by the oaths of Mary Ramsey and R.W. Ramsey subscribing witnesses hereto and ordered to be recorded as the last will and testament of Hannah Sydenstricker Dec'd. A Copy Teste C.B. NOTE2: The Virginia Davis mentioned in the will is not Hannah's daughter. Hannah's daughter, Virginia, married Mahlon B. Vandegrift. She did not marry a second time. Virginia died in 1876 (age 40) before Hannah's will was proved.
