Benjamin R. Zopp  WILL     
Dated July 4, 1878

   In the name of God Amen; I Benjamin R. Zopp of the State of West
Virginia, Greenbrier County being sick and weak in body, but of sound
and disposing mind, memory and understanding, considering the certainty
of Death since the uncertainty of the time thereof and being desirous
to settle my worldly affairs and thereby be the better prepared to leave
this world when it shall please God to call me hence, do therefore make
and publish this my last will and testament in the manner and form
following that is to say,
I give and bequeath to my wife Abigail Zopp the home farm situated on
Mill Creek Mountain in Greenbrier County State of West Virginia together
with all improvements thereon, Horses, Cattle, Sheep, and hogs, household
and kitchen furniture or that may be thereon at the time of my decease
her lifetime, the above named farm to be divided between my two sons
Beaureguard and Stonewall, share and share alike and if either should
die before a division the surviving child shall entitled to the share
of the deceased.
I give and bequeath to my three other sons Joseph Zopp, B.W. Zopp and
Truslow Zopp all my land known as the Big Ridge adjoining the Home Farm,
share and share alike, the Big branch to be the line of division between
the home farm and the Big Ridge.
I give and bequeath to my two daughters Charlotte and Ledona Zopp one
cow each out of my estate and lastly I do hereby constitute and appoint
my dear wife Abigail Zopp executrix of this my last will and testament.
In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed my seal
this fourth day of July, eighteen hundred seventy eight.

Signed and sealed and delivered and declared by Benjamin R. Zopp the
before named testator as and for his last will and testament in the
presence of us who at his request in his presence and in the presence
of each other have subscribed our names as witnesses thereto.
