He was born in 1816 and had he lived until June next, would have been eighty-eight years old. The latter half of his life was spent in this town and for many years he has been a familiar figure. It was only during the past two months that he was unable to go about town. Deceased leaves four sons, Charles V., Floyd, James and John and one daughter, Mrs. Alice Keller. The funeral occurred Thursday at 2:00 o'clock, the interment being in Indian Mound Cemetary.
