Allison: was born in York County, Pa., February 22, 1795; moved to Beaver County, Pa., in 1809; married Ellen Allison in 1824. They settled in now Hancock County, West Virginia. They reared a family of six children, four sons and two daughters, two of the sons are deceased; he followed farming as his vocation; he is now living and enjoying good health for a man of eighty-four years of age.
