                Biographical Sketches of Hancock County:

George H. Hobbs:
    a son of Hanson Hobbs, was born in now Hancock County, West Virginia, 
December 19, 1831.  He married Mary J. Jones in 1860, a daughter of William 
Jones.  They settled on the farm where they are now living.  They have a 
family of three children, two sons and one daughter.  He is following farming 
as his vocation.
