John Bott, 144 California Ave., Chester, died Monday at 6:05 p.m. at City Hospital, following a week's illness. She was 71. Mrs. Bott was the owner and operator of McDonald's Decorating Shop on Virginia Ave. until 1957, when she retired. She was born in Alliance March 16, 1893 to Peter Raber and Anna Koffer Raber and spent most of her lifetime in this vicinity. Besides her husband, she is survived by three sisters, Mrs. William (Rose) English of Mssillon, Mrs. Oscar (Hattie) Spears of Wellsville and Mrs. Louis (Lena) Chirra of Staten Island, NY. Services will be held Thursday at 1 p.m. at the Arner Chester Chapel by the Rev. Thomas Hammerton, pastor of the Centenary Methodist Church in East Palestine. Burial will be in Nessly Chapel Cemetery. Friends may call tonight and Wednesday at the funeral chapel.
