She was the daughter of the late Major and Mrs. Jas. Campbell and was born in New Cumberland on February 10, 1826. She was united in marriage with William Herron on August 31, 1848, and to this union were born twelve children, ten of whom lived to womanhood and manhood. Mrs. Herron had always been very active and enjoying good health until about two years ago when she fell and injured her limb and has been an invalid ever since. She was a life long member of the Pt. Pleasant Church, being one of the charter members and the last one surviving. She is survived by the following children, Buckhannon Herron of Ottawa, Kan.; Clem Herron of Detroit. Mrs. Isabel Konkle, Benedict, Neb.; Mrs. James Freshwater, Chester; Mrs. Alva Chambers, Wesley and Wallace of this county. The funeral will be held on Friday morning at 11 o’clock at her late residence near Point Pleasant. Interment at New Cumberland Cemetery.
