FEB 17, 1910      H.M. FIGLEY

  H. M. Figley, a former resident of this place, aged 80 years, died at 
Neptune, Florida, on January 10th. Word has just been received of his 
passing away.  Mr. Figley was an uncle of John C. Mackey, and when he lived 
here resided on the Mackey place.  Mr. Figley suffered a stroke of paralysis 
which was the cause of his death.
  He is survived by his wife, who lives on the Owen Swearingen farm. Mrs. 
Figley is in her 79th year.  When Mr. Figley went to Florida he had expected 
to have his wife and daughter join him, but meeting with financial reverses 
and ill health, they never met again.
The daughter died and she was buried beside her three sisters in the Nessly 
burial ground.  Mrs. Figley makes her home with a grandson.
  The deceased was well known in this community.
