This census was taken by Clifton and Lila Funkhouser in 1979. They
recorded many Hardy County cemeteries and generously wanted their
work made available to the public; therefore, they gave a copy to
the Hardy County Public Library. It is reproduced here with
permission from the Library.

Located three miles south of Moorefield midway between the
W.A. Harper home and the Tony Francisco home (in 1979) on the
railroad right of way.


Cunningham, Matilda  age 22 died 7-21-1835
(consort of George)
Cunningham, John H.  age 1 m. died 3-12-1835
(son of George and Rebecca)

Note: This George Cunningham was a son of William Cunningham III
and Jemima Harness and was a grandson of "Irish Billy" Cunningham.
George Cunningham was born in 1797 and lived to be 80 years of
age. He married first Matilda and second Rebecca Seymour
(1802-1852). Their daughter, Mary, married W.J. Welton 1854.
