NESMITH THE MOOREFIELD (WV) EXAMINER, Wednesday, April 24, 1996 Iona M. "Jo" Nesmith, 72, Inwood, WV died April 14, 1996, in City Hospital. Mrs. Nesmith was born May 3, 1923, in Wardensville, WV and was a daughter of the late William Henry Harvey and Virginia Bell Wilkins Dellinger. She retired from Knouse Foods after 34 years of service and was a member of Pine Grove United Methodist Church. Her husband, Charles A. Nesmith preceded her in death. Survivors include one son, Charles Eugene Nesmith, Inwood and one sister, Eunice Dehaven, Hedgesville, WV. The Revs. William Crowe and Patricia Drake conducted the funeral on Tuesday at the Brown Funeral Home in Martinsburg, WV. Burial was in the Pine Grove Cemetery. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Brown Funeral Home. ************************************************** WARREN AUSTIN NESSLERODT THE MOOREFIELD (WV) EXAMINER, Wednesday, March 13, 1996 Warren A. Nesslerodt, age 73 of Maysville, WV died Monday, March 4, 1996 at his home. Born January 20, 1923 at Jordan Run, WV. He was the son of the late Daniel Godfrey Nesslerodt and Nida (Turner) Nesslerodt and Nida (Timer) Nesslerodt Brotherton of Maysville, WV. Mr. Nesslerodt was a lifelong logger; member of the Jordan Run Union Church; U.S. Army Veteran of World War II; member of the American Legion Post 78; 40 & 8 Voiture #1535; Fraternal Order of Eagles #2883 of Cresaptown, MD, and was in the military police with a rank of Corporal. Surviving are his wife, Phyllis (Sears) Nesslerodt; two sons, Daniel J. Nesslerodt of Petersburg, WV and David W. Nesslerodt of Moorefield, WV; one daughter, Julie Vandevander of Silver Spring, MD.; four grandchildren, Wade "Nub" Nesslerodt, Clint "C.W." Nesslerodt, Erinn Vandevander and Caitlin Vandevander; one great-granddaughter, Mikaela Vandevander; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Tomasenia Ours and Marie VanMeter of Maysville, WV. He was preceded in death by one brother, Colas Nesslerodt and twin grandsons. Funeral services were held Thursday at the Jordan Run Union Church with the Rev. Paul Donaldson and Rev. Paul Dye officiating. Burial was in the Maysville Cemetery at Maysville, WV. Military graveside services were by Potomac Highland VFW Post 6454 and American Legion Post 78. Funeral arrangements were under the direction of the Schaeffer Funeral Home in Petersburg. ****************************************************
