"GINNY" ZIMMERMAN THE MOOREFIELD (WV) EXAMINER, Wednesday, August 7, 1996 Mary Virginia "Ginny" Zimmerman, age 89, of Moorefield, WV, passed away on August 2, 1996, in Jacksonville, Florida. She was the daughter of the late Mary and William Soloman Fisher. Mrs. Zimmerman was also preceded in death by her husband, George Henry Zimmerman. Mrs. Zimmerman is survived by her daughter Marian "Penny" Jenkins and son-in-law Archie Oliver Jenkins, II; grandson Archie Oliver Jenkins, III; granddaughter Virginia Lynn Jenkins; two great-grandchildren; sisters-in-law Mrs. John W. Fisher of Fisher, WV and Mrs. C. Hinkle "Hink" Fisher of Moorefield, several cousins, nieces and nephews, one of which is Jesse William Fisher, DDS, also of Moorefield. A graduate of Rollins College in Winter Park, Fla., Mrs. Zimmerman taught at the Out of Doors School in Sarasota, Fla., and Moorefield High School for a number of years. She had been President of the Women of the First Presbyterian Church, Charleston, WV and a Presbytery officer, a member of the American Association of University Women, a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution and Pi Beta Phi Fraternity, a charter member of John Jolliffe Chapter of the National Society of Colonial Dames XVII Century, and a former board member of the Davis-Stuart Home in Lewisburg, WV. Visitation will be Friday evening 7-9 p.m. at the Elmore Funeral Home in Moorefield. Funeral services will be conducted at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday at the Moorefield Presbyterian Church with Bruce A. Macbeth officiating. Burial will be in the Indian Mound Cemetery in Romney following the service. Memorial donations may be made to the Moorefield Presbyterian Church, P.O.
