Signed and Sealed this 8th day of Juy in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirthy five. The Conditions of the above bond are such that the Elijah Roberts doth agree and bind (--_) himself his heirs executor and administrators to make unto Absolom Roberts his son a good and lawful deed within eleven years from this date, in which time the sd. Absolom Roberts in consideration of the land, is to pay unto Simon Roberts the sum of $50.00 Dollars lawful money of Va. The sd. land is the old home pleace on which Elija now livews and bounded as follows. beginning at Garret Johnson's stone corner and running with the sd. Johnson's line to an iron wood corner on Pickens line and then running along the ridge with the sd. A. Picken's line to a sugar corner and then (---) the sd survey of Elijah Roberts to sugar tree corner on Henry Gripen line and these runing with the sd Henry Gripen line to the beginning stone corner of Garret Johnson's containing 108 3/4 acres. Witnessed signed and sealed this 8th day of July AD 1835. Teste Elija Roberts seal Joseph W. Arnold his x mark Stephen Arnold Elizabeth Arnold Harrison County Courts Clerks office August 20 1838. The foregoing title Bond was presented in this office on the 7th day of November 1837 and proved by the oath of Joseph W. Arnold, and Stephen Arnold witness thereto such on the said 20th day of August 1838 the same was proved by the oath of Elizabeth Roberts and admitted to bond. Attest Eli March C.H.C.C.
