Cochran Meeker&Co.

Know all men by those present that I John Brady are of the company alluded 
to in the within Mortgage for myself and Samuel Finney & Co. in 
consideration of the sum of two hundred and fifty pounds lawful money to 
us in hand paid by Cochran Meeker & Co. Merchants in the city of 
Baltimore the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged and for diver.
Other good causes and consideration is hereunto moving have Bargained 
Sold assigned and set over unto the said Cochran Meeker & Co. his 
executors administrators and assign all the within Indenture of Demise and 
premises thereby granted and demised or mentioned or intended so to be and 
every part thereof with the appurtenances and all our estate right titles 
interstate property claim and demand whatsoever in Laws or Equity of in or 
to the same or any part thereof and to have and to hold the said tracts or 
parcels of Land in the Indenture let forth granted and demised with their 
appurtenances unto the said Cochran Meeker & Co.  Their heirs executors 
administrators and assigns from __________ forth to profit and enjoy 
_______ granted premises in the said indenture so forth agreeable to the 
family.

Subject to the provision within contained unto have received and take 
all and convey sum or sums of money due or to grow due upon the said 
instrument of writing or indenture afore mentioned to the said both Cochran 
Meeker & Co. their heirs executors and administrators to their own proper 
use and ______ and  of the said John Brady do hereby for myself and said 
company mine and their heirs and executors and assigns covenant to and 
with the said Cochran Meeker & Co., that the within deed of Mortgage is not 
encumbered by any prior Mortgage, Mortgage deed or deeds of trust or any 
other matter or thing whatsoever   In witness whereof I the said John Brady 
for myself and Samuel Finney & Co. have set my hand and seal this 23 day 
of May in the year one thousand and seven hundred and Ninety nine.
