Jacob Eib Deeds HARRISON COUNTY, VIRGINIA DEED BOOK 6 DECEMBER 22, 1806 JACOB EIB TO // DEED PETER EIB THIS INDENTURE made the Twenty Second day of December in the year of our Lord One thousand eight hundred & Six Between Jacob Eib and Cather- ine his wife of the County of Harrison and State of Virginia of the one part and Peter Eib of the same County and State of the other part WITNESSETH that the said Jacob Eib & Catherine his wife for and In consideration of the sum of one thousand Dollars Lawfull Money of Virginia the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed released & Confirmed and by these presents do Grant bargain Sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto to the said Peter Eib heirs and assigns forever all that Tract or Parcel of Land lying & being in the County of Harrison & State aforesaid Situate on the west side of the west fork river and bounded as follows To-wit Beginning at a Dogwood on the South of a Deep Hollow thence South Seven degrees East fourteen poles to a Stake Crossing the publick road North fifty nine degrees East Twenty poles North thirty five degrees East fourteen poles North three Degrees West thirty five poles to the said west fork river thence down the Same with its meanders one hundred & Sixty Seven poles to a Small Sycamore and Locust thence by three lines of the original Survey North Sixty degrees West One hundred & Ten poles to an Elm South Sixty one degrees West 32 poles to a locust and red bud saplin South thirty degrees West One hundred & Twenty three poles to a poplar at the head of Allens Hollow thence leaving the Original lines South South Sixty three degrees East one Hundred & twenty four poles to a beech on the bank of Turkey Pen Run thence North eighty five Degrees East 35 poles to the falls of said run thence a straight line to the Beginning being part of a Tract of land granted to Nicholas Carpenter and Conveyed to the said Jacob Eib by deed dated the 19th day of October 1805 from David Carpenter and Conveyed to the said Jacob Eib by deed dated the 19th day of October 1805 from David Carpenter and Catherine his wife also one Still of the Capacity of 76 Gallons now on the premises aforesaid with all vessels of every Description that belong to the Distilling Business & one brown stud horse the said Tract of Land Containing one Hundred & fifty five acres To have & To hold the above described Tract or parcel of Land with the above property with the appurtenances to the said Peter Eib his heirs and assigns to the only proper use & behoof of the said Peter Eib his heirs & assigns forever & the said Jacob Eib & Catherine his wife for their heirs & assigns Do hereby Covenant to & with the said Peter Eib his heirs & assigns that they the said Jacob Eib & Catherine his wife the above discribed Tract or parcel of land with the appurtenances to the said Peter Eib his heirs and assigns Shall & Will warrant & forever Defend against all persons & claims whatsoever. She having been first privily examined & Consenting and ordered to be recorded.
