Currey Deed Abigah Waren This Indenture made and entered into this nintenth day of April in the year of our lord one thousand eight[een] hundred and twenty Eight Between Jonathan T. Curry and Nancy his wife of the county of Harrison and State of Virginia of the one part and Abijah Waren of county and state aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that they the said Jonathan T Currey and Nancy his wife for and in consideration of the sum of two hundred Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained sold and by these presents doth grant bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm unto the said Abigah Warren a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the county of Harrison and State of Virginia situate on the waters of Faris run being a part of a survey granted to Daniel Davisson by the commonwealth and Bounded as follows Beginning at a walnut then running N 35º East 9 1/2 poles to a white oak thence S 15 1/2 West 107 poles to a sugar and [beach] Thence West 121 pols to a white oak thence North 52 1/2 East 184 pols to the Beginning containing forty for acres and thirty ibe poles more or less with all its profits and commodities thereunto belonging or in any wise appertaining with all its appertenances to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with all its appertenances unto the said Abigah Wearen his heirs or assigns forever and they the said Jonathan T Currey and Nancy his wife for themselves and their heirs executors and administrators &c do convent that they will forever warrant and defend the said tract of land unto the said Abijah Wearen his heirs or assigns forever in witness whereof they the said [ ] Curry and Nancy his wife have hereunto set their hands and seals this day and year first above written Jonathan T.
