Josiah Lambert Deeds Harrison County, VA WV __________________________________________________________________ HARRISON COUNTY, VIRGINIA DEED BOOK 4 SEPTEMBER 15, 1800 Josiah Lambert to Joseph Kelso This Indenture made the fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred between JOSIAH LAMBERT and JOHANNA his wife of the County of Harrison and State of Virginia of the one part and Joseph Kelso of the County of Dodd and state aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth that they the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and JOHANNA his wife for and in Consideration of the sum of seventy Dollars to them in hand paid the receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained Sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents do Grant bargain Sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Joseph Kelso a certain tract or parcel of Land being on the said County of Harrison and State of Virginia Situate onWaters of AMEZIAH DAVISSON MILL RUN being part of a tract of six hundred acres granted by Patent to John Sowers and one hundred and fifty acres of said Tract conveyed to the JOSIAH LAMBERT and bounded as followeth (to Wit Beginning at a Whiteoak Corner to the original tract and Running thereon along a line Thereof South Nineteen Degrees West thirty three poles to a poplar on Said Line thence North Thirty Seven and a half Degrees West namely seven poles to a White oak Gum and two Chesnut oaks North Seven dgrees West ten poles to Hickory and Chesnut North forty five degrees East one hundred & eighty poles to a Black oak South ten degrees West one hundred and fifty one poles to the beginning Containing Sixty Acres together with all profits and Commodities thereunto belonging or in any wise appurtaining With all its Appurtenances To Have and To Hold the said tract or parcel of Land with all its appurtenances unto the said Joseph Kelso his heirs and assigns forever and they the said Josiah Lambert and Johanna his Wife for themselves their Heirs & do covenant that they will forever Warrent and Defend the said tract or parcel of Land unto the said Joseph Kelso his Heirs and assigns In Witness whereof they the said Josiah Lambert and Johanna his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above Written Harrison County September Court 1800 Josiah Lambert SEAL This Indenture was acknowledged by Josias Lambert Johanna Lambert SEAL and Joana his wife.
