Josiah Lambert Deeds Harrison County, VA WV __________________________________________________________________ HARRISON COUNTY, VIRGINIA DEED BOOK 4 SEPTEMBER 15, 1800 Josiah Lambert to Jacob Coplin & John Davisson This Indenture made the fifteenth day of September in the year of our Lord one thousand eight Hundred between JOSIAH LAMBERT and JOHANNA his Wife of the County of Harrison and State of Vir- ginia at the One part and Jacob Coplin and John Davisson Son of Joseph Davisson of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Thence Both that they the said JOSIAH LAMBERT & JOHANNA his Wife for and in Consideration of the Sum of one hundred and Sixty Six Dollars to them in hand paid the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged have Granted Bargained Sold & liened enfeoffed and confirmed and by these presents do Grant Bargain Sell alien enfeoff and Confirm unto the said Jacob Coplin and John Davisson a Certain Tract or parcel of Land lying in the County of Harrison Situate in Waters of AMEZIAH DAVISSON MILL RUN and being part of a tract of Six hundred Acres Granted by PATENT TO JOHN POWERS (and one hundred and fifty four Acres of said Tract conveyed to the said JOSIAH LAMBERT and bounded as followeth to Wit Beginning at a White oak Corner to the Original Tract and Running Thence along a line of the same South Eighty Nine Degrees West forty seven poles then North Sixty Seven poles too two Whiteoaks North ten Degrees East one hundred and forty poles to a Chestnut Oak North Seven degrees East one hundred and fifty poles to a Chestnut Oak North Seven degrees West nine poles to a White Oak ___ ____ ____ Chestnut Oak South Sixty ____ half degrees East Ninety seven poles to a poplar on a line of the Original Tract thence South Nineteen degrees West seventy three poles thence by the lines of Land granted to Major Powers South twenty eight degrees West twenty four poles South forty six degrees West forty eight poles South twenty two degrees East thirty two poles North fifty three degrees East eight poles thence leaving Major Powers said lines and along the __menhomes line of the original tract South Nineteen degrees West twenty six poles to the beginning Containing Eighty seven Acres together with all profits and Commodities thereunto belongin gor in any wise Appurtaining With all its appurtenances To have and To Hold the said tract or Parcel of Land With all its appurtenances unto the said Jacob Coplin and John Davisson their Heirs and assigns forever and they the said JOSIAH LAMBERT & JOHANNA his wife for themselves their Heirs to Covenant that they Will forever Warrent and Defend the Land Tract or parcel of Land unto the said Jacob Coplin and John Davisoson their Heirs and assigns In Witness Whereof they the said JOSIAH LAMBERT & JOHANNA his wife have hereunto set theri hands and affixed their seals the day and year first above Written Harrison County September Court 1800 JOSIAH LAMBERT SEAL This Indenture was acknowledged by JOSIAH LAMBERT JOANNA LAMBERT SEAL and JOANA his wife parties thereto.
