ARNOLD TO DEED WILLIAM LAMBERT THIS INDENTURE made the twenty first Day of February in the year of our Lord one thousand Eight hundred & three. Between George Arnold & Elisabeth his wife of the County of Harrison & State of Virginia of the one part and WILLIAM LAMBERT of the same place of the other part. Witnesseth that they the said George Arnold and Elisabeth for and in Consideration of the sum of ten Dollars to them in hand paid the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged Have granted bargained sold Aliened Enfeoffed and Confirmed and by these presents Doth grant bargain sell Alein Enfeoff & confirm unto the said WILLIAM LAMBERT a certain tract or parcel of Land lying and being in the County of Harrison aforesaid on the Waters of the Brushy fork of Elk of Elk Creek and bounded as followeth to wit. Beginning... to land formerly the property of JONATHAN LAMBERT DECEASED ... containing one hundred acres ... unto the said WILLIAM LAMBERT his heirs and assigns forever and they the said George & Elisabeth for themselves their heirs &c Do Covenant that they will forever warrant & Defend the said tract or parcel of Land unto the said WILLIAM LAMBERT his heirs and assigns their Seals the Day & year first above Written Signed sealed & Delivered Geo. Arnold SEAL In the presence of Elisabeth Arnold SEAL Harrison County February Court 1803 This Indenture of bargain and sale was produced in Court & acknowledged by Geo.
