This Indenture made the Sixteenth Day of February in the Year of our
Lord one thousand eight hundred and one Between WILLIAM LAMBERT of
the County of Harrison and State of Virginia of the one part and James
Curtis of the County and State aforesaid of the other part Witnesseth
the said WILLIAM LAMBERT for and in consideration of Seventy five Dollars
to him in hand paid the Receipt Whereof is hereby acknowledged ____
granted bargained sold aliened enfeoffed and Confirmed in by these
presents do Grant Bargain sell alien enfeoff and confirm Unto the said
James Curtis a certain tract or parcel of Land lying in the County of
aforesaid situate on waters of LOST CREEK  being bounded as followeth
to Wit Beginning  ...
at a beach on the line of Joseph Shrives's ... unto the said James
Curtis his heirs and assigns and he the said WILLIAM LAMBERT for heirs
of his being do Covenant that he will forever Warrent and Defend the
said Tract or parcel of Land unto the said James Curtis his heirs and
Assigns In Witness whereof the said WILLIAM LAMBERT hath here ____ set
his hand and affixed his seal this day and year first above written
