THIS RECORD WAS DONATED TO THE HARRISON COUNTY WVGenWeb PROJECT/ARCHIVES ONLY: ********************************************************************* Transcribed and donated by: Jane Hunter Hodgson 1997 HARRISON COUNTY, VIRGINIA DEED BOOK 6 MARCH 23, 1803 DANIEL STOUT TO // DEED WILLIAM LAMBERT OTHERS THIS INDENTURE made this twenty third day of March Anno Domini one thousand eight hundred & three between Daniel Stout and Elizabeth his wife of the County of Harrison & State of Virginia of the one part and the heirs of JONATHAN LAMBERT DECEASED of the same place of the other part, WITNESSETH that the said Daniel Stout and Elizabeth his wife for and in consideration of the sum of four hundred dollars to them in hand paid the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged have granted bargained & sold aliened, enfeoffed & confirmed and by these presents do grant bargain sell alien enfeoff & confirm to the said Jonathan Lamberts heirs and their assigns forever a certain tract or parcel of land lying and being in the County of Harrison & State of Virginia situate on the Brushy Fork of Elk Creek and bounded as followeth to wit ...to a line of Caleb Stouts... to the said heirs and their assigns forever and the said Daniel Stout and Elizabeth his wife ... In Witnesseth whereof they have hereunto set their hands & affixed their seal the day & year forst above written. Harrison County October Court 1807 This Indenture was produced in Court and the acknowledgment of Daniel Stout made on the 13th day of November 1807 was proven by the oaths of William Wilkinson Henry Crishfield and Andrew Patten which acknowledgment is ordered to be recorded.
