Lynch & wife to Methodist E Church Ten Mile Creek [---- indenture made this 27th day of August 1858. Between William B. Lynch and Mary C. his wife of the one part and Jacob Fultz, William Scott, Benjamin Starkey, James Price, Abraham Gabbart, Issac Williams, John P. Lynch and Richard Stonestreet, of the other part as trustees for the use of the Methodist Episcopal Church in Ten Mile Creek all of the County of Harrison and State of Virginia. Witnessth that the said William B. Lynch and Mary C. his wife for and in consideration of the sum of Thirty Five dollars good and lawful money to them in hand paid the receipt where of is hereby acknowledged --- granted and bargained sold and by those presents do ----- bargain and sell to the above named Trustees for the use afore ---- a certain lot or parcel of ----- with its appurtenances lying and being in the County of Harrison and state of Virginia on Ten Mile Creek and situated on the South West side of said Creek near the junction of Wizzardism as a branch of said Ten Mile Creek being a part of the tract on which said William B. Lynch lives --- on which a house for this use of the Methodist Episcopal Church now been recently built. Said lot to contain one acre and six poles, and bounded as follows. Beginning at Stone on the bank of Wizzardism S 65 1/2 E 20 poles to a stone thence N 7 1/2 W 14 1/2 poles to a stake thence S 88 W 16 1/2 pole to a stake, thence S 6 1/2 W 4 poles to the Beginning. To have and and to hold the above described lot with its appurtenances to the Trustees and their suscepers in offico forever for the use aforesaid And the said William B. Lynch and Mary C. his wife ---- covenants to and with the said Trustees and their Suscepers in offico for the uses aforesaid that will forever warrant and defend the above described lot of ground against all persons whatsoever. In testimony whereof the said William B. Lynch and Mary C. his wife have hereunto set their hands and affixed their seal this day and year above.
