Principally and first I [co]mmend My Soul to Almighty God that gave it [ ] hoping his acceptance of the same in Jesus the Lord Amen. My body I commend to the Earth to be buried in a Christian like manner at the Discretion of my Executrix hereinafter mentioned [ ] My will is concerning the wordly Estat herewith it hath pleased God to bless me with in this life to dispose of it in the manner and form following [ ] first themy Just debts and funeral expence be paid Secondly I will and Bequeath to my loving wife Sarah Gallespie all my household and [movable] property [ ] farming utintials Ex[cepted]for my Son Enos Gallespie I also will and Bequeath four Hundred acres of Land warranted and Entered Lying in the Narrows above John N[aneers] Adjoining his Land the Said Land being subject to the support of my widow during her Natural Life provided never the less that if my Brother Mark Gallaspie move his family from Jersy to these parts that he by contract of Mine with him is to have three Hundred Acres of Said Land for the same he is to pay to my widow the full sum of one Hundred fifty Dollars to be paid in Like Manner as they shall agree The one Hundred acres still to remain the property of my Son enos. My will is that twenty shillings be paid to my Daughter Mary Phillips son Andrew and twenty shilling to Sarah Greathouse Daughter of John Greathouse the same to be paid in property in the term of Six Months after my decease ------- Further my will is that My Son Richard Gallaspie keep the rifle Gun that he now has in possession which I Bought for him. My Will is that the red cow be given to be the property of my Daughter Anne Gillispie My Will is that my Son Enos Gillispie have the two young steers and the bull Last spring [ ] The other is Little Sally {there's nothing missing here, that's exactly the way it reads} And I do constitute and ordain my faithfull Loving wife Sarah Gallispie my whole and Sole Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament Revoking Disallowing and Making void all manner of Wills, Legacies and Bequeaths heretofore before this time Willed or Bequesthed by me Ratifying and Confirming this and none else to be my Last Will and Testament in Witness whereof I hereunto set my hand and seal the twent fifth Day of November in the Year of our Lord one thousand Seven hundred Ninety & five 1795.
