Wamsley of County and State aforesaid of the other part witnesseth that David Wamsley and Sarah his wife hath bargained, sold, assigned, ____, and confirmed with all its appurtencinces [sic] unto the said Abner G. Wamsley, a part of a tract of land patented to David Wamsley aforesaid in the year 1799 and bounded as follows, to wit Beginning at Abasolom [sic] Wamsley’s corner on Brown’s Run and West Fork River and running up said West Fork River, and with a line of the original survey to a sugar tree on the right hand side of the county road and about 20 poles below lands conveyed by the aforesaid David Wamsley to John Simmons [?] and from thence a straight line up the river hill and across the flat on the top of said hill, and crossing thru [?] a small gulley to a white oak on a point and from thence a straight line to the back line of the original survey (from the river) and with said original line to Absalom Wamsley’s line, and with said line to the Beginning. So as to include one hundred and thirty acres to have to hold the above described tract or parcel of land to hime the said Abner G. Wamsley his heirs and assigns forever and the aforesaid David Wamsley and Sarah his wife doth further covenant and aree that they will forever warrant and defend the title to the said tract of land to him the said Abner G. Wamsley, his heirs or assigns forever against the claim or claims of any person or persons whatsoever. In witness whereof the said David Wamsley and Sarah his wife have set their hands and affixed their seals the day and year above written. Signed, sealed and delivered int the presence of David (his mark) Wamsley SEAL Harrison County Court Clerks Office 20th June 1825.
