John Martin Senr

      Will

			The last will and testament of John Martin Senr.
of Harrison County Virginia In the name of god.
	I John Martin senr considdering the uncertantry of this
Mortul life and being of sound mind and memory.  blessed
be God for the same do make and publish this my last
will and testament in manner and form.
			That is to say first of all.  I give and bequeath
unto my beloved wife Mary Martin all of any property, both real and
personal to use at her pleasure as long  as she lives after payying
my debts and funeral expenses.
			I appoint Moses Shinn my sole executor at the death
of Mary Martin to sell all the property both real and personal and to
make an eaqual distribution among all the heirs namely Joseph Martin,
Daniel Martin, Elijah Martin, John Martin the Jr., Micheal Martin,
Eliott Martin, Elias Martin, Mary Odle, Elizabeth Heflin, Deborah
Glover, John Martin and Martha Martin children of Dorcas Martin decd
the two children to have one share and all the other heirs to him to
have an equal share.
			This is my last will and testament hereby revoking
all former wills made by me.
			In witness whereof I have set my hand and seal the
twentyeth day of August one thousand eight hundred and fifty three.

Signed and published and delivered by the above named John Martin Senr
to be his last will and testament in the presants of who at his request
and in his presence have subscribed our names as witness thereunto

Harrison County Court 		March 20th 1854
			The last will and testament of John Martin Senr was
produced in Court and duly proven by the oaths of Caleb Nuzum and
Benjm Martin the subscribing witnesses thereto and the same is
admitted to full probate & ordered to be recorded.
