McCall of the County of Wood and State of Virginia of the one part and Mark Custer, Senior of the County of Jackson and state aforesaid of the other part. Witnesseth, that the said George C. McCall, for and in consideration of the sum of seven hundred and fifty dollars lawful money of the United States of America unto him well and truly paid by the said Mark Custer, Senior at and before the sealing and delivery of these presents does grant, bargain, sell, alien, enfeoff, release and confirm unto the said Mark Custer, Senior and his heirs and assigns all that certain tract or parcel of land situate, lying, and being on the right hand fork of Big Sandy Creek in the County of Jackson aforesaid containing three hundred acres and bounded as follows Viz, beginning at a stone corner to Jonathan Boice and running thence South 2 degrees East with said Boice's land 320 poles to a stake in a line of Spencer Adams thence North seventy five degrees West 150 poles to a stake in the same line thence North 2 degrees W 320 poles to a gum near a drain thence with a line of Benjamin Harrison's Survey North to the beginning. Together with all and singular the ways, waters, water courses, rights, liberties, privileges, hereditaments, and appurtenances whatsoever thereto belonging or in any wise appurtaining and the reversions and remainders, rents, issues, and profits thereof and all the estate of right, title, interest, property, claim and demand whatsoever of him the said George C. McCall in law equity or otherwise however of in and to the same and every part thereof to have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land mentioned and intended so to be with the appurtenances unto the said Mark Custer, Senior and his heirs and assigns forever. And the said George C. McCall and his heirs, executors, and administrators fo by these presents covenant, grant, and agree to and with the said Mark Custer, Senior his heirs and against all and every other person or persons whomsoever lawfully claiming or to claim the same or any part thereof shall and will by these presents warrant and forever defend in witness whereof the said parties to these presents have hereunto interchangeably set their hands and seals dated the day and year first above written.
