Henry Patrick Slaven, son of William and Margaret Woodell Slaven.
Married Sarah L. Flinn 1861.Sarah was daughter of William and Mary Staats.

Henry Patrick Slalven joined Confederate military at Ripley, June 1861,faught 
in several battles and wounded (lost  part leg) at Winchester ,VA. Discharged 
Beverly,WV on 1865. Henry died 1922. Burial Flinn Cemetery,
