His parents, HENRY BUCK and HANNAH FISER, were from Shepherdstown, VA (now WV). Her parents, JOHN WEAVER and EVE HAWKER/HOCKER were from Montgomery Co., OH, and Greene Co., OH. They married in Montgomery Co., OH., in 1859. He was a captain in the Union Army. After the Civil War, they moved to Douglas Co., IL, where they lived the remainder of their lives. Between 1850 and 1859, JOSEPH FISER BUCK changed the spelling of his surname to BOUCK. * * * * * FAMILY RECORD BIRTHS J. F. Bouck BIRTHS John Henry Bouck was born in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty on the third day of September between the hours of five and six in the evening in Dayton Ohio Ell Netty Larue Bouck was born in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and sixty three on the third day of June Wednesday eve between nine and ten o'clock Greene County Ohio Murry Shipley Bouck was born in Douglas County, Illinois in the Year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Sixty Six on the tenth day of June Sabbath morning between nine and ten o'clock in the morning Laury Ellen Bouck was born in Douglas County Illinois in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and sixty nine, on the 24th day of July Saturday evening between the hours of 11 & 12 o'clock William M. Evarts Bouck was born in Douglas County, Illinois in the year of our Lord one Thousand Eight Hundred and Seventy five 1875 on the 23rd day of May Sabbath morning between one and tow o'clock DEATHS Father J. F. Bouck departed his life Tues. morn at 1.40 o'clock, May 7, 1901. Mother Susanna Weaver Bouck departed this life Thur. afternoon at 1.25 o'clock, Apr. 20, 1899. Sister Ell Netta LaRue Bouck Senteney departed this life Mon. at 6 p.m., May 23, 1904.
