The subscriber respectfully informs the Ladies and Gentlemen of Charlestown and its vicinity, that his Dancing School will commence on Friday the 18th inst. at Fulton's Hotel in Charlestown. His subscription is already half filled up -- Eight subscribers more will complete his number of scholars. Independent of the present mode of dancing, he will introduce a new style, by which pupils may display with ease and elegance the accomplishment of dancing. Particular attention will be paid to the deportment of his pupils. JAMES ROBARDETT. February 17." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - "PUBLIC SALE. The subscriber will sell, at public vendue, on the 30th instant, at his residence on Bullskin Run in Jefferson county, VA. his stock, consisting of Horses, Cows, Hogs and Sheep ---Also Farming Utensils, Household and Kitchen Furniture, and a variety of other articles. A credit of six months will be given, on the purchaser giving bond with approved security. The sale to commence at 10 o'clock, when due attendance will be given by the subscriber. JOHN GANTT, junr. The Subscriber will sell, at Public Vendue, on the 23d inst. at the place where he resides near Garnhart's tavern, in the neighborhood of the Brick Mill, Jefferson county, his Grain in the ground, a farm Wagon, Horses, Hay and Rye in the stack, a Wheat Fan, Household and Kitchen Furniture, Farming Utensils of almost every description, and a number of articles too tedious to mention. The subscriber will sell at public vendue, on Tuesday, the 22 inst. at the Sulphur Spring, on Opequan creek, the following property, viz a number of Feather Beds, and Bedding, Soft Matrasses and Bedsteads, one Desk, Book case and Bureau, large and small Tables, a number of Chairs, large and small Looking Glasses, China Cups and Saucers, large and small Dishes and Plates, Knives and Forks, Wash Bowls, and Baking Dishes, a large quanity of Porter Bottles, large and small white Pitchers, and Stone Ditto, Wine Glasses, Quart, Pint and other half Pint Decanters, large and small Stone Jars, Brass and Iron Candlesticks, a large Copper Coffee Boiler, one Cooler, Brass Tea Kettles, Coffee Mills, and Kitchen Furniture, -- Also, two Stills and a large Copper Boiler, containing 120 gallons, Still Hogsheads, a number of Whiskey Barrels, an Apple Mill and Washing Machine. -- Likewise, Cattle, Hogs, and some Sheep -- One Blacksmith's Vice and Anvil, and a great number of articles too tedious to enumerate. A VERY VALUABLE FARM In Jefferson County, Virginia, about three miles from Charlestown. It lies in that body of land known and commonly called the Rich Woods. This tract contains three hundred and twenty acres, and is inferior to none in the countyas to fertility of soil, at least one third is in very valuable timber, the balance is cleared, and in good farming order, having at this time one hundred and twenty acres sown in clover. On the premises are a good barn thirty feet square, two excellent wells about thirty feet deep, and have never been known to fail, a good dwelling house, with stone chimney, and other convenient buildings --there is also a small apple and peach orchard.
