S." "Died, on Friday last, Mr. William Burnett, of this county. Also, Mr. Moses Burr, of this county." "OLD SOLDIERS. The following officers, who now hold commission in the United States army, served in the Revolutionary army, viz: Gen. Wilkinson, 32 years of service, age 63. Gen. Burbeck, 30 years of service, age 62. Gen. Cushing, 32 years of service, age 56. Gen. M. Porter, 35 years of service, age 57. Gen. Bissel, 27 years of service, age 59. Col. Freeman, 27 years of service, age 63. Col. Kingsbury, 38 years of service, age 56. Col. Sparks, 27 years of service, age 57. Maj. Pike, father of the late Geo. Z. M. Pike, 32 years of service, age 64. Maj. Whistler, 26 years of service. age 58. Maj. Beall, 25 years of service, age 50. Many of these officers entered the revolutionary army as privates; most of them were subaltern officers at the close of the war." - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - - Feb. 23, 1815 edition - "Died, on Thursday last, Mr. John Conway, Cabinet Maker, of this town."
