By virtue of a Deed of Trust executed to the undersigned by F. Fairfax, bearing date upon the 3d day of November, 1813, and of record in the office of the county court of Jefferson, Virginia, he will proceed to sell before the door of Robert Fulton's tavern, in Charlestown, in said county, upon the 3d day of February next, to the highest bidder for ready money, a tract of land, lying in the said county of Jefferson, containing by estimation ONE THOUSAND ACRES, known by the name of Shannon Hill Tract. Said Land having been conveyed to the undersigned in trust to indemnify Charles Gibbs, as security for the said Fairfax.
