Item I give and devise to four sons Peter James Moses and William all the Remainder of my aforesaid tract of land to be equally divided among Paying due regard to quantity and quality my eldest son Peter Burr Shall have and possess that lot or part of the division which Comprehends my now dwelling house which I give to my said four sons to be held respectively by them and each of them as Tenants in Common to them their respective heirs and assigns forever my three sons James Moses and William are as they Respectively move to lawful age Subject ? ? to the payment of Twenty five Pounds Current Money each which they shall pay to my three youngest daughters Elisabeth Anne and Hester my will is that my three last named daughters Shall have an equal part or proportion of my personal Estate so as to be equal to their sisters already married a Breeding Mare a piece Excepted and all the remainder of my Said Personal Estate Shall be equally divided among the The whole of my within named Children which I give to them and each of them their respective heirs and assigns forever Item I give and bequeath unto my oldest son Peter Burr the whole of the Crop of grain on hand and also the Crop now growing on my farm subject none the less to the schooling and maintenance of my Children until they respectively move to Lawful age Lastly I do hereby nominate and appoint John Cowan and my Son Peter Burr executors of this my last Will and Testament For Testimony whereof I have hereunto Set my hand and Seal this 27th day of February one thousand Seven hundred and ninety three 1793 Signed sealed published and declared by the S’d Peter Burr as his last will and Testament in the presence of Thomas Rutherford James Tone - - - - - - - - - - At a Court held for Berkeley County the 23rd day of February 1795 __ and Testament of Peter Burr (?) was vowed (?) by the oath of James Tone one of the witnesses __ Motion of John Cowan and Peter Burr the executors therein named who according (?) to law Certificate is granted them for ?obtaining a probate thereof ----g ----- where in--- they with Surety --- -d onto and acknowledge as the ...
