Lieutenant Governor, acting pursuantto the Constitution as Governor of 
the Commonwealth of Virginia:TO ALL TO WHOM these Presents shall come, 
GREETING: KNOW YE, Thatin conformity with a Survey, made on the 15th 
day of December 1834by virtue of exchanged Land office treasury warrant 
No 2566there is granted by the said Commonwealth, unto Peter CogarA 
certain Tract or Parcel of Land, containing Thirty acres situate in 
Kanawha County on the main left hand fork of the west fork of Little 
Kanawha & bounded as follows Beginning on a beech standing on the 
easterly bank of the Creekabout 6 poles below the mouth of the first 
small branch putting into the creek below where the said Cogar now 
lives & running thence up the creek with the meanders thereof & 
[--]nding therewithS5W 2[?] ps. S11W58 ps. S30 E6 ps. S63 E13 ps. 
east 24 ps N39E36 ps. N51 E46 ps to a box elder on the Creek bank 
thence N63 W62poles to a beech near a small branch N80 W31 poles to 
the beginningwith its appurtenances TO HAVE AND TO HOLD the said 
Tract or Parcel of Land, with itsappurtenances, to the said 
Peter Cogar and his heirs forever.IN WITNESS WHEREOF, 
the said WYNDHAM ROBERTSON, Esquire,Lieutenant Governor, 
acting pursuant to the Constitution asGovernor of the 
Commonwealth of Virginia, hath hereunto set his Hand, and 
caused the Lesser Seal of the said Commonwealth to beaffixed, 
at Richmond, on the 30th day of September in the year of 
our Lord one thousand eight hundred and thirty 6 and of the
Commonwealth the 61st Wyndham Robertson
