Bagby WILL, APPRAISEMENT AND BILL OF SALE OF THE ESTATE OF JOHN BAGBY In the name of God Amen I John Bagby being of sound mind and disposing memory for which I thank god and calling to mind the uncertainty of human life, being desirous to dispose of all such worldy estate as it has pleased god to bless me with. I give and bequeath the same in manner following the that is to say: Item 1st, It is my will my Executors (so soon after my death as may be practicable) shall sell my property of every kind or description whatever and that the money arising from said sale be divided into seven equal shares or parts and that said Executors pay over Dis of said shares to my six children, Susannah now Susannah Spencer, John Bagby, Isham G Bagby, Mildred, now Mildred Chaiborn, Elizabeth now Elizabeth Pankey, James Bagby that is to say one equal share to each of them, and that the remaining seventh share be paid over to the children of my daughter Mary Corley who shall be in excistence at the time of her deathy to be equally divided amongst them. Item 2nd I give to two sons Henry Bagby and Daniel Bagby, one shilling each. Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my friend Thomas Matthews and my son Isham D Bagby Executors of this my last will and testament, hereby revoking all other former wills or testaments by me heretofore made. In witness whereof, I have hereunto set my hand and my seal this 7th day of July in the year 1828.
