First I resine my soul to God who made it, my body to the earth to be buried in a decent and Christian manner at thediscresion of my executors hereafter to be named.Item the first its my will and desire all all my just debts shall be first paid, and worldly things it has been xxx God to bless me with it is my will and desire shall be disposed of in the following manner: First I give and bequeath to my beloved wife Nelly M. Cown one third part of all my estate boath real and personal during her natural like or so long as she remains a widow then and in that or either case to be divided amongst my seven youngest children. Secondly I give my fore children that is married Namely Matthew MCown, James MCown, Peggy Casdorph, Nancy MCallister one dollar each. Item third I give and bequesth to Francis MCown twenty dollars. Item the forth it is my will and desire that my wife Nelly live on the premises which I at present reside on during her life or widowhood as before mentioned and full possession of all the property of every kind except such part of the perishable estate as may be necessary for the schooling of the children which is to be sold by my executor. Item the forth its my will and desire that if my youngest child William arrives at the age of twenty one before the death of my wife Nelly then and in that case it is my desire that all my estate boath real and personal shall be sold on a credit of twelve months and the proceeds of such sale to be equally divided amongst my seven young- est children namely Malcolm MCown, John MCown, George MCown, Pheby MCown Joseph MCown, Sylvester MCown, William MCown. Lastly I do appoint my wife Nelly MCown and my son Francis MCown executrix and executor of this my last will and testament. In testimony whereof I have here unto set my hand and seal this 24th day of October 1813.
