TO ALL TO WHOM THESE PRESENTS SHALL COME --GREETING: Know Ye, That in conformity with a Survey made on the 22nd day of April 1836 by vesture of Land Office Survey Warrent N. 2325 there is granted by said Commonwealth, Unto Isaac Cox Jr. nephew of David S. Cox, A certain tract or parcel of land containing One Hundred arces in source of Smoke Camp fork of Freemans Creek - Beginning at three beechs standing near the mouth of Smoke Camp fork, thence S. 26degrees E. 66 poles up the creek to a line, thence N. 74 W. 136 poles to a hickory and sugar, thence S. 34 W. 34 poles to a white oak, thence N. 61 W. 12 poles croping a branch of said creek to a small poplar, thence N. 34 E. 26 poles to a sugar, thence N. 26 poles to a sugar, thence N. 20 poles to a beech, thence N. 50 W. 18 poles to beech, thence N. 40 W. 77 poles to a gum, thence N. 45 E. 53 poles croping said creek to a hickory, thence N. 77 E. 75 poles to a beech and poplar, thence E. 14 poles to a beech, thence N. 28 E. 57 poles to a white oak, thence N. 73 E. 24 poles to an ash, thence S. 23 E. 12 Poles croping said Smoke Camp to a poplar & gum, thence S. 44 W. 16 poles to a sugar, thence S. 14 W. 109 poles to the beginning with it's appurtenances.
