James Pleasants Junr Esq Governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia : To
all To whom these presents shall come, Greeeting: Know Ye, that in
conformity of a survey made on the twenty second day of September 1817 By
virtue of a Land Office Treasury Warrant No 38g2 paid the 13th of
February 1804 there is granted by the said commonwealth unto Michael
Fisher A certain tract or parcel of land containing One hundred and fifty
acres , situate in the County of Lewis on said ; land a drain of Murphys
creek and bounded as followeth to wit, Beginning at a white oak and
popular standing on a line of Edward Parsons thence with said line S10W
poles to a white oak degrees thence S80W 6 poles to a white oak, thence
?134Wg to poles to a hickory thence N43 W178 poles to a white oak thence
N65E72 poles to a ?red oak and thence S56E227 poles to the beginning To
have and to hold the said tract or parcel of land with its appurtenances
to the said Michael Fisher and his heirs forever. In Witness thereof the
said James Pleasants Junr Esq Governor of the said Commonwealth of
Virginia hath hereunto set his Hand , and caused the lesser Seal of the
said Commonwealth to be affixed at Richmond , on the twenty sixth day of
February in the year of our Lord one thousand eight hundred and twenty
