Additional Comments:
Ruth Josephine McCray was the daughter of John Groce McCray and Mary Malinda 
McCord. She taught school in Lewis County for many years and actively pursued 
the genealogy of her family, particluarly her McCord ancestors.  She married 
George Charles Post 18 JUL 1936 in Oakland, Garrett County, Maryland.  They 
lived on Canoe Run at Postead Farm near Roanoke until the area was flooded by 
the Stonewall Jackson Dam.
