The Charleston Gazette, Wednesday, November 25, 1959
STUMP. Mrs. Cora-76, of Griffithsville, Lincoln County, died Tuesday evening at the
home of a daughter, 
Mrs. Myrtle Graham near Hamlin. Also surviving are her husband, Frank; three sons,
Arch of Griffithsville. 
Homer of Hamlin, Miller of Huntington; two sisters, Mrs. Adeline Stanley and Mrs.
Eveline Oxley of 
Huntington; two brothers, Andrew Stowers of Griffithsville, Lee Stowers of
Huntington; 18 grandchildren; 
and 36 great-grandchildren.
Services will be held in the Merritt’s Creek Baptist Church near Griffithsville, 11
a.m. Thursday by Rev. 
Russell Ad kins and Rev. Roscoe Bias. Burial in the Miller Cemetery near Hamlin. The
body is at the Koontz 
mortuary.
