William Sherner Dingess was born on October 25, 1898 at Chapmanville, Logan Co., 
West Virginia and died on April 27, 1969 at Huntington, Cabell Co., West Virginia. 
He was the husband of Bertha McCloud. He was the son of Julius James Caesar 
Dingess and Polly Ann Farley.
Reford Dingess was the son of William Sherner Dingess.
