LEE R. ABBOTT -- is a son of Vernon and Priscilla (Vanzandt) Abbott. His father
came to Marion county in 1839, and Lee R. was here born December 2, 1845. His
mother is no longer living. In Palatine, Marion county, July 9, 1878, Lee R.
Abbott and Columbia E. McKinney were joined in wedlock, and their children are:
Robert Lee Roy, Mary M., and Alice Priscilla. Columbia E. McKinney was born in
Marion county, June 7, 1846, a daughter of John S. and Matilda C. (Sullivan)
McKinney. Her father was formerly of Preston county, Virginia. Lee R. Abbott is
engaged in the practice of law at Fairmont, Marion county.

Lee R. Abbott died Nov 15, 1885 of Apoplexy at the age of 39y-11m-13d.

Vernon Abbott died Aug 16, 1889 of Heart Disease at the age of 70years. He was
the son of Abner & Fannie Abbott
