BENJAMIN A. FLEMING -- is a prosperous merchant of Fairmont. He was born in
Marion county, June 20, 1836, and here his wedded life began, November 19, 1863.
His parents, both now deceased, were Matthew and Eliza Fleming, and his wife is
Mary F., daughter of Frank and Biddy (Carney) Christy. Her parents came to
Marion county in 1824 and she was born here July 22, 1843. They are sill honored
residents of this county. Willie M., born March 30, 1865, is a son and only
child of Mr. and Mrs. Benjamin A. Fleming.

B. A. Fleming died June 10, 1903 at age 66yr-11mo, of Heart Disease. Occupation:
Merchant; Burial: Woodlawn Cemetery

Mary F. Fleming (widow) died July 4, 1911 of Acute Indigestion at age 67y-11m-12d.
