Hardesty & Company Publishers, 1883 Fairmont District Marion County, West Virginia JAMES OTIS WATSON - was born in 1815, in that part of Harrison county, Virginia, now included in Marion county, West Virginia. His parents were Thomas and Rebecca (Haymond) Watson, who came from Maryland in 1803, and settled in Monongalia county, where they lived until the formation of Marion. In Palatine, this county, in 1841, James 0. Watson wedded Matilda, daughter of Leonard and Mary (Donaldson) Lamb. Her birth was in Monongalia county in the year 1822. To Mr. and Mrs. Watson were born ten children, namely: William H., Carrie M., Sylvanus L., George T., Ida M., Lucy L., Mary R., James E., Frank E., and Clarence W. James 0.
