It is located in the front lawn of Fleming Memorial Presbyterian Church and is easily visible from the road. General note: Whenever a surname is listed in parentheses( ), it can be assumed the surname came from something like "Elizabeth, daughter of...". It may be incorrect is as much as that person may have been married and married name is not reflected. An ( ) indicates the stone was unreadable, but you could tell there was inscription there. At the front of the cemetery a large stone slab has a metal plaque attached that reads thus:"In memory of Nathan Fleming heirs who gave this parcel of land for the Fleming Memorial Presbyterian Church and cemetery also in memory of the faithful slaves who served the Nathan Fleming heirs and these slaves are also buried in this cemetery with unmarked graves."
