A.B. Willard Dies Suddenly

Alpheus B. Willard, of Barrackville, aged 67 years, died suddenly yesterday of 
a heart ailment while on duty with the Conaway Bros. feed mill at 
Barrackville. He was riding with others in a truck and died instantly. His 
death occurred in early afternoon.


The deceased leaves his widow, Mrs. Ina Conner Willard, and several children; 
Mrs. C.F. McKnight, Mrs. Jess Drennen and Conner Willard of Fairmont; William 
Willard of Uniontown, Pa; Norman Willard of Farmington and Mayme, Alvador, 
Alford and Richard at home. There are eight grandchildren and one great 
grandchild. A brother, Isaac Willard, lives in Waynesburg, Pa.

Word came to the Willard family soon after his death that his sister had died 
in Clarksburg about the same hour.

Alpheus is buried in Barrackville Baptist Cemetery

Date of Birth was Feb. 10, 1873 and date of death was Jan. 3, 1947
